Note: The k'an te' (yellow tree) or madre cacao was the ruler over the third regent or the third age, which ended about 3100 BC. The first age was associated with white, the second age with black, the third age with yellow, to be followed by red. In the Popol Vuh, the hero twins Hunahpu and Ixbalamque lured their older brothers to the madre cacao where they fooled them to put an end to their reign over the third age. The madre cacao tree provided shade for the fragile cacao trees along the Mayan Pacific Coast. The thicker madre cacao branches were used to make wood fences.
Akbar Week: Balam Akbar or Night Jaguar was one of the four leaders that founded the Mayan-Mesoamerican civilizations. The nation that he founded was also called the Greathouses, possibly due to the large or long houses that they lived in. The Greathouses lived near the ocean on El Salvador's eastern coast and became a great sailing people. Most of the great Mesoamerican peoples, other than the Mayans, come from the Balam Akbar lineage.
Night Sky: Venus is reappearing as a morning star where it will be for nearly one tzolkin (260-day cycle). The Q'ante' day sign is associated with Venus so it is a day to celebrate all things Venus: love, beauty, and harmony.
Acajutla High Tides: 2:24 AM and 2:52 PMSemi-diurnal Tide range (Difference in High/Low Tides): 1.53 meters average and increasing
