Nov. 27, 2009: Day Sign - 2 Ahua in the Mayan Calendar
For those of you who enjoy reading about the current day’s Day Sign in the 260-day Olmec-Mayan-Aztec Calendar, you will need to start looking for it on this blog. I won’t be posting those to my live feed anymore after this one. Soon I will be writing about the calendar itself – where it comes from, what it does, how it connects to observations of the night sky, including Venus’ and Mars’ trajectory across the skies, and how it is part of the method to predict eclipses.
Today is 2 Lord (Ahau), second day in the Rain week. The Aztecs called it 2 Xochitl (Flower), a much prettier sounding name.
Keywords: Compassion, protection, nurturing. Good day for healing or teaching. Good day for dreaming or to work on crafts or other thing of beauty. Striving for perfection may come in the way of healthy relationships.
